Noel is a light festival that brings people together to embrace the joy and wonder of the holiday season. With dazzling light installations and enchanting holiday décor, we create a festive atmosphere perfect for families, friends, and all holiday enthusiasts. Previously held in Calgary (2019 & 2020) and Milwaukee (2021), the Noel Festival is making its exciting debut in Cloverdale in 2024. Join us for an unforgettable celebration of light, warmth, and holiday spirit!
Noel Surrey will transform the Cloverdale Fairgrounds into a winter wonderland from November 28 to December 23, 2024. The festival will run from 4pm to 10:30pm and feature over 1 million sparkling lights. Over 30,000 sq. ft. of the Cloverdale Agriplex will transform into Noel Village, featuring Santa’s castle, Rudy’s reindeer stable, a Christmas Market, a lair for a Green & Grumpy Guest, princesses, elves, a winter fairy, live music, dance performances, and interactive light displays. The festival will include a 1 km outdoor, accessible holiday light walk featuring a 150-foot light tunnel, illuminated see-saws, a frosty forest, and much more. Noel Surrey will also create a festive dining experience in the Holly Jolly Hub, offering food trucks, dining huts, and cozy fire pits. Additionally, free parking will be available close to the venue, which is conveniently located off Hwy 15, and near Hwy 10 and Hwy 1.Noel Surrey opens on November 28 and runs until December 23, 2024. Public ticket sales are available from November 28-December 1, December 5-8, and December 12-23, 2024. Operating hours are 4:00pm – 10:30pm.

We have designed the event to be accessible for all, including wheelchairs, assistive walkers and strollers. The outdoor pathway is fully paved, and the indoor venue is located on flat concrete.
Yes, we are happy to accept Access2 Cards. A ticket must be purchased for the cardholder, and the accompanying guest will receive free admission. Please present your card upon entry to the event. Read about eligibility here.
Tickets to Noel Surrey include admission to the festival, photos with Santa, visits with a Green & Grumpy Guest, mesmerizing light displays, a 50-foot Ferris Wheel (Nov 28-Dec 19), Berry-Go-Round & Bumper Cars (Dec 20-23), live music, dance performances, holiday characters and princesses, as well as activities in “Kidsville” which will feature a candy cane slide, free face painting, crafts, balloon art, and more. Tickets also grant access to the Christmas Market, Jack Frost’s LED Igloo Bar, the Bavarian Plaza, holiday food and beverage areas, and access to festival merchandise.
Food, beverages, merch, and items purchased from the Christmas Market are an additional charge.

There will be a variety of food trucks serving delicious food and holiday treats, as well as a kitchen inside Noel Village (Cloverdale Agriplex). We will also have two bars, one located inside Noelville (Cloverdale Agriplex) and one outside at Jack Frost’s LED Igloo Bar.
Yes, our venue is fully licensed.
Parking is free, and parking attendants will greet and direct you to the nearest parking lot within the Cloverdale Fairground complex. There will be accessible parking available.
Most people will stay at the event for approximately two hours, although there is no time limit.
Time slots ensure that you have an optimum experience at Noel Surrey and can soak up the festive atmosphere without overcrowding.
The outdoor light walk may take approx. 20-30 mins. Attendees can do it twice to complete an additional walking route on the far side of the pond. Keep warm with hot cocoa as you admire the fascinating light installations, play and interact with some of our light displays, and linger at our photo points for a few pictures. The light walk is paved and accessible for those of all abilities.
Yes, indoor washrooms are available within Noelville (Cloverdale Agriplex) and porta potties will be available along the outdoor light walk. There are also outdoor washrooms on 62 Ave adjacent to the parking lot.
Unfortunately, no dogs or pets are allowed at the event, with the exception of service dogs.
Noel Surrey will be open in all weather conditions, rain, snow, and shine. We recommend warm and weatherproof clothing. As we have an indoor and outdoor space; we recommend dressing in layers and ugly Christmas sweaters are encouraged!
Yes, photos are free and can be taken with your phone at Santa’s castle, and the Green & Grumpy One’s Lair.

Ticketing Questions 🎄
All guests require a ticket, including children who are 6 years of age and younger. You can purchase free tickets for children on our ticketing website. Bring your ticket on your phone and it will be scanned upon entry. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Tickets are sold in one-hour time slots, and you should endeavour to arrive as close to your ticket time as possible. If you are more than 20 minutes late, we cannot guarantee access to the park due to crowd capacity limits.
Tickets are non-refundable. For questions about your ticket, please email ticketing@admitone.com.
If for reasons beyond our control, we are forced to cancel the event, you will be offered an alternative date. We will communicate any cancellations by 2pm on the day of the event. You will be notified by email with your options. This is an indoor and outdoor event, and cancellations will not be offered in the case of poor weather. The event will operate in rain, snow or shine.
Yes, there will be a box office onsite. Limited tickets will be available to purchase from the box office, and will be subject to capacity. We encourage you to purchase your tickets in advance here. Ticket sales at the box office close at 9:30pm each night.

Noel Surrey is the perfect venue for your corporate gathering, holiday party, or appreciation event. For groups between 15-20, bookings are self serve through our ticketing website. Please continue to select your time slot and select from the "Group" ticket options on the Order Summary page.
