Looking for things to do this Christmas in Surrey? Noël Surrey brings millions of lights, festive shopping, holiday treats and characters around every corner together in one place. It runs November 27 to December 29, 2026 at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds.

Here are five reasons to make it part of your holiday plans.

5 reasons to spend Christmas in Surrey at Noël Surrey

1. Nearly three million lights on the Bright Nights light walk

The Bright Nights light walk wraps around the pond at the Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre, glowing with nearly three million lights. It's built with love and thousands of volunteer hours by local firefighters. Bring a warm drink, take your time and look for the vintage fire truck and the tunnel of lights.

2. One ticket covers all the entertainment

No add-ons, no upsells. Every ticket includes:

  • Photos with holiday characters

  • Family-friendly activities

  • Live music and entertainment

  • Unlimited rides on the 50-ft Ferris wheel

  • Unlimited trips down the Candy Cane Slide

Kids 6 and under? Totally free.

3. Find the perfect gift at the Noël Christmas Market

The Christmas Market has moved into Santa's Snow Barn, a new heated indoor venue for 2026. Sip, snack and shop your way through unique gifts and festive finds from local vendors. It's an easy way to check a few names off your list while the kids visit Santa.

4. Indulge in all your favourite festive treats

Warm up with seasonal sips, local food trucks and holiday bites. The festival is fully licensed, so grown-ups can grab a holiday drink at the bar while they wander.

5. Your visit helps light the path of healing for burn survivors

A portion of every ticket supports the BC Professional Fire Fighters' Burn Fund. That money funds a full circle of care for burn survivors across BC and the Yukon, from recovery programs to family accommodations. Firefighters are on site every night too, so stop by their donation station and say thanks.
